The right has NEVER owned the fact that they wanted to overturn the constitutionally mandated acceptance of the Electoral College votes - THAT HAD ALL BEEN APPROVED BY THE LEGISLATURES OF ALL THOSE STATES. If there was a coup attempt, it was done by the ones who wanted to throw out the Constitution and not the ones who chose to USE the Constitution.
There is no moving forward until that is reconciled.
